SAIL – Steel Authority of India Limited has issued a notification SAIL Recruitment for various posts 2014 for various Operator cum Technician – Trainee and Attendant cum Technician – Trainee posts and invites application from eligible Indian citizen through online mode.

1. Operator cum Technician – Trainee – 25 posts
2. Attendant cum Technician – Trainee – 45 posts
Minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for SAIL Recruitment for various posts 2014 :
1. Operator cum Technician – Trainee :
Candidate should have completed Matriculation and must possess a diploma or minimum 3 years in any one of the Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical from recognized government institute or board.
Attendant cum Technician – Trainee :
Candidate must have completed SSC with ITI in any one of the Welder/ Turner/ Fitter/ Electrician/ Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trades from any government recognized institute.
Minimum Age Limit to Apply for SAIL Recruitment for various posts 2014 :
Minimum age of a candidate should be 18 years and maximum age limit is 28 years.
Relaxation in upper age will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government rules which is 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.
Minimum Physical Standards required to apply for SAIL Recruitment for various posts 2014 :
Candidate should be free from any physical defect and medical standards should be as following :
Weight – Minimum 45 kg and height should be at least 150 cm.

Candidates of General and OBC category are required to pay rupees 250/- for Operator cum Technician post and rupees 150/- for Attendant cum Technician post.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from paying application fee.
