Minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for HPCL Technician and Craftsman Recruitment 2015 :
1. Technician – Operations :
Candidate must have completed diploma in chemical engineering with 60% marks or possess BSc in any one of the Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry with Chemistry as major subject with at least 60% marks and 50% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
2. Technician – Boiler :
Candidate must have completed diploma in mechanical engineering with 60% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates.
Desirable – Candidate should possess first class boiler competency certificate
3. Technician – Electrical :
Candidate must have completed diploma in Electrical engineering with 60% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates.
4. Technician – Instrumentation :
Candidate should possess diploma in instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with at least 60% marks. 50% marks required in diploma for candidates of SC/ST category.
5. Technician – Mechanical :
Candidate should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks and 50% marks for candidates of SC/ST category.
6. Craftsman Maintenance – Mechanical (Chemical Plant) :
Candidate must have passed SSC exam with at least 60% marks and should possess ITI/NCVT in MMCP trade (Main. Mech. Chem. Plant) with at least 60% marks.
50% marks required in both qualifications from SC/ST candidates
7. Laboratory Analyst :
Candidate should possess BSc in any one of the Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry with Chemistry as major subject with at least 50% marks.
8. Junior Admin Assistant :
Candidate must have completed BA/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% marks and should have good proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
9. Boiler Attendant :
Candidate should have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Candidate must have passed first class certificate of Boiler Competency.

Maximum age limit : 25 years
Relaxation in upper age as per government rules which is 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category candidates.
