UKPSC – Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has issued a notification for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Examination 2014 and inviting online applications from eligible Indian Citizen. All eligible candidates may apply online for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Examination 2014 before the last date for receiving of online applications.
Total Number of Vacancies : 237 (UKPSC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies)
There will be different posts under the state service examination related to all departments of state government therefore candidates are requested to refer to official recruitment notification to get complete details of various posts, preferences of posts, particular eligibility criteria for each post etc.
Age Limit for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Examination 2014 : Candidate must have completed at least 21 years of age and his/her age should not be more than 42 years and relaxation in upper age will be provided as per the guidelines of Uttarakhand State Government.

Application Fee : Rs 150/- for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 60/’- for – SC/ST/PWD
Candidates may fee the fee by using Challan in any branch of State Bank of India after two days of online registration.
How To Apply Online for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Examination 2014 : Before proceeding to online application candidate must ensure that he/she meet with all the eligibility criteria required by the commission to appear for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Examination 2014.
Candidates are requested to visit at the official website of UKPSC and use Examination Tab then Click at Sign in then Click at – Click Here for Online Application Form then candidates have to fill up online application and must fill all the necessary required details in application form. While applying online candidate must have all the necessary details such as personal details, Email ID, DOB then all educational details and must have a scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature where size of photo should not be more than 40KB and 20 KB of signature.
Candidates may choose any one of the centers available in the list of examination centers while filling up online application.
Finally candidates have to agree on all the instructions then click at submit and your application will be submitted for Uttarakhand PSC State Service Preliminary Examination 2014.
Uttarakhand PSC State Service Preliminary Examination Pattern 2014:
Paper I – General Studies 150 questions for 150 marks – 2 hours
Paper II – General Aptitude – 100 questions for 150 marks – 2 hours
This preliminary test will be of qualifying nature and those candidates who pass in prelims exam will be qualified to appear for mains examination where he/she has to pass different descriptive type papers and after getting qualified in mains exam, candidate will be called for final interview process and interview is very important state to get the service.
