Selection Process:

1).Examination

A).Objective Test (Online): 200 M

Duration: 2 Hours

No. of Sections: 04 (50 M each, so total 200M)

i).English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension and more)

ii).General Awareness, Marketing and Computers

iii).Data Analysis & Interpretation

iv).Reasoning (High Level)

Candidate must need to qualify each of the section (Pass marks will be decided by the Bank)

B).Descriptive Test: 50 M

Duration: 1 Hour

Test: English Language (Comprehension, Short Précis, letter writing & essay)

Note: Descriptive test paper will be evaluated of only those candidates qualify in the Objective Test

2).Group Discussion & Interview:

Group Discussion: 20 M

Interview: 30M

3).Final Selection:

First round 250 M are converted and regarded of: 75M out of 100

Second round 50 M are converted and regarded of: 25M out of 100

The selection will be made from the Top merit ranked candidates in each category

Final selected candidates list will be published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar

Application Fee:

i).For General and Others: Rs.500/- (Application Fee including intimation charges)

ii).For SC/ST/PWD: Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges Only)

Specifications to be maintained for PHOTO & SIGNATURE:

For Photograph:

Dimensions: 200*230 pixels (Preferred)

Size: In between 20 KB to 50 KB

For Signature:

i).Candidate needs to sign on white paper with Blank Ink Pen

Dimensions: 140*60 pixels (Preferred)

Size: In between 10 KB to 20 KB

Note: Candidates are advised to make sure the specifications of both Photograph and Signature are correct and within limits.

The Image file should be JPG or JPEG format

There will be separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature. So click on “Upload Photograph/Signature”

Select the File of Photograph and Signature individually and finally click on the “Upload” button

How to Apply for SBI PO 2014-15?

1).Candidates are requested to go through the links available at the bottom of the page (State bank of India official website given), first and foremost thing, Candidates must have Valid Active Email ID before applying

2).Soon after navigating SBI website, candidates are required to register themselves ONLINE

3).After completion of registration, candidates are needed to move on to the Payment now

Payments Modes:

i).Offline: Through System generated Cash voucher/Challan form pre-printed form

ii).Online: Through Debit card/Credit Card/Internet Banking

Offline Fee Payment:

A).Candidates must scan their Photograph and Signature as per the specifications mentioned above

B).Go to the Apply link provided below or else candidates can navigate to the SBI official Website, click on the Recruitment link

C).Candidate now needs to fill the form carefully by giving proper details and soon after filling it candidates will be given register number and password

D).Now, candidates should submit the date and take a Print out of the System generated Challan

E*).Fee will be accepted from “2nd working day “after registration and can be made “with in 3 working days at any branch of State Bank of India

F).Candidates will receive confirmation by SMS / E-mail after 3 working days from the date of payment of fees

Online Fee Payment:

1).Candidates should follow the same procedure given above (A, B and C steps)

2).Candidates opt for Online fee payment will have to be made online through payment GATEWAY available

3).Candidates can choose any of gateway processes Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking by providing proper information as asked on the screen

4).On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated
