Computer Typing Test:

Duration: 30 Minutes (15 minutes for Typing + 15 minutes for data entry)

Typing Test: (15 minutes of Typing)

One passage of – 450 Words in English (or) 375 Words in Hindi

To be typed with a minimum speed of “30 words per minute” in English (Or) “25 words per minute” in Hindi

Data Entry Test: (15 minutes for data entry)

Each carrying equal marks on Computer

Above test will be conducted on Computer Keyboard, but not on a Typewriter

Note: Candidates will have to secure prescribed qualifying marks in this Test. Marks will be based on Speed and Accuracy. It is a Combined Test. And marks in both the components will be put together for qualifying.

Postal Recruitment 2014 Cut off Marks:

For OC Candidates: 10 Marks i.e., 40% of marks (In each section out of 25 M)

For OBC Candidates: 9 Marks i.e., 37% of marks (In each section out of 25 M)

For SC/ST Candidates: 8 Marks i.e., 33% of marks (In each section out of 25 M)
