a) Mechanical – 17 posts
b) Electrical – 08 posts
c) Control and Instrumentation – 05 posts
02. ITI Trainees :
a) Fitter – 21 posts
b) Electrician – 07 posts
c) Instrument Mechanic – 02 posts
03. Lab Assistant Trainees :
B.Sc with Chemistry – 04 posts

Minimum Eligibility criteria required to apply for NTPC Engineer and Assistant Trainee Recruitment 2015 :
For Diploma Engineer Trainee :
Candidate must have completed three years diploma in respective discipline mentioned in the notification with at least 70% marks from a recognized institute.
For ITI Trainee :
Candidate must have completed matriculation and should possess trade certificate of ITI in relevant discipline form a recognized institute NCVT or SCVT which is required in the notification.
For Lab Assistant Trainee :
Candidate should have passed B.Sc degree with Chemistry and Chemistry must be a subject in the final year of graduation or should be Graduate in Industrial or Applied Chemistry.
Minimum age limit required to apply for NTPC Engineer and Assistant Trainee Recruitment 2015 :
Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age required is 27 years as on 30th November 2014.
Application fee required to pay for NTPC Engineer and Assistant Trainee Recruitment 2015 :
For Diploma Engineer Trainee – Rupees 300/-
For ITI Trainee – Rupees – 200/-
For Lab Assistant Trainee – 200/-
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are not required to pay the fee.
