Minimum Eligibility Criteria required to apply for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2014 :
For General Duty Branch :
Candidate must have completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and must have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects.

For Electrical Branch :
Candidate must have completed bachelor’s degree in Engineering in any one of the following subjects and must have secured at least 55% marks aggregate in degree :
Electrical/ Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation and Controls/ Power Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum age limit required to apply for Technical Mechanical/ Electrical Branch under Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2014 :
Candidate must have born between 01 July 1984 and 30 June 1993 and both dates are inclusive.
Additional Eligibility Criteria to Apply for General Duty Branch :
Candidates having integrated degree of LLB of five years after passing class 12th with maths and physics or possessing LLB with physics and mathematics as subjects in class 12th can apply for General Duty Branch only.
