About Indian Air Force Recruitment Group-X & Y Posts (2014):– The Indian Air Force wants to recruit the applicants for the Group-X & Y posts. The interested applicants can apply according to the given detail and as described format. The applicants must have to check the detail before apply. The Indian Air Force selects the applicants on the behalf of written test and physical efficiency test. Name of the Posts:-
- Group- X (Technical).
Offered Salary:- Rs. 24900/- per month approximately.
- Group- Y (Non- Technical)
Offered Salary:- Rs. 20500/- per month approximately.
Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:-
Group- X (Technical):- The applicant should have passed class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in Science with 50% marks/ Diploma in Engineering.
Group- Y (Non- Technical):- The applicant should have passed class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination with 50% marks.
Note:- The degree or diploma should be done from the recognized university or Institute.
Age Limit:- The Date of birth of the applicant is between 01st August 1995 to 30th November 1998.
Selection Process:- All the applicants who pass the written test are to undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) on the same or the next day. The applicants are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts.
The applicants will be selected by the Indian Air Force on the behalf of the following conducted tests:
1) Written Test.
2) Physical Efficiency Test:-
- PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 8 minutes.
- The applicants will also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
3) Medical Test.
4) Interview.

The interested applicants can apply on the official website. The applicants have to download the application form and fill that form according to the given detail. The applicants should have to attach the copies of the respective documents like:
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- Qualification Certificate.
- Category Certificate.
Admit Card/Hall Ticket:- The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the Indian Air Force. The admit card must be downloaded 15th days before the exams.
