Educational Qualification:
i).Candidates must have possessed Engineering Degree from any one of the following disciplines.
ii).The streams allowed are,
@ Mechanical
@ Mechanical Automation
@ Naval Architecture
iii).Candidates must have possessed minimum of 50% of marks in English for Standard X or XII for 34th GME batch
Age Criteria: (As on 01st January, 2015)
Upper age: 28 years
Physical Fitness:
Candidates must have Medical fitness Certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping (at the time of Admission).
Note: All documents including Part A of Class IV certificate of Competency required for Joining any merchant ship as a Junior Marine Engineer as per the STCW 2010.
