Educational Qualification:
For Research Officer (Siddha): Post Graduate degree in Siddha system of medicine from a CCIM recognized institution & Enrolment in the Central/State Register of Indian Medicine/Siddha as the case may be
For Research Officer (Siddha Pharmacy): Postgraduate degree in Siddha in Gunapadam from a CCIM recognized institution & Enrolment in the Central/State register of Indian Medicine/Siddha as the case may be
For Research Officer (Pharmacognosy): M.Sc in Botany/Medicinal Plants or M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized university (Ph.d in Relevant subject is desirable)
For Lab Attendant: 12th Class or equivalent with science subjects from recognized university (Desirable is Certificate course from recognized university/Institute in Computer Application)
Age Criteria: (as on 01.01.2014)
For Lab Attendant: Upper age limit 25 years
For all others: Upper age limit 40 years
Relaxation will be applicable for reserved candidates as per the Government norms
Pay Scale:
i).For Lab Attendant: Pay Band (PB-1) Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay GP.Rs.1900/-
ii).For All others: Pay band (PB-3) (Rs.15600 – 39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/-)
Application Fee:
For General/OBC Candidates: Rs.100/-
For SC/ST – Rs.20/-
Fee must be paid through Demand Draft (D.D)
DD need to be drawn in favour of Central Council for Research in Siddha, Payable at Chennai
Probation Period: 02 years
