Minimum required qualification to apply for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 :
Candidates must have passed Post Graduate Degree with specialization in the particular subject for which he/she is applying for means if a candidate is applying for the post of Assistant Professor of English then he/she must be passed PG degree in English Literature.
Candidate must have secured at least 55% marks in post graduate degree and those candidates who have secured 54.99% or less than this, will not be considered eligible to apply for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 therefore candidates are advised to ensure their eligibilities before applying for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category under Bihar State will be given relaxation of 5% marks in post graduate degree therefore SC/ST candidates of Bihar should have at least 50% marks in Masters or PG Degree to apply for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014.
Candidates have to pass NET/SET or any other equivalent entrance examination conducted by UGC to be eligible for recruitment of education field and mainly for Lecturer/Assistant Professor/ Professor posts.
The candidates who have completed PhD on the basis of minimum standard regulation framed by UGC will not be required to pass NET/SET examination.
Age Limit to Apply For BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 :
Minimum age of the candidate should be 23 years and should not be more than 55 years as on 01-01-2014.
Relaxation in upper age will be provided to reserved category candidates of Bihar which is 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC.
Application Fee to Apply for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 :
SC/ST Candidates of Bihar only – 25 rupees + 50 rupees bank charges – 75/-
General, OBC and candidates of other states need to pay Rs. 100/- + 50/- bank charges – 150/- only

How To Apply for BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2014 :
First of all candidates must visit at the official website of BPSC then then download 4 hindi fonts from the website and install in the computer which is being used by a candidate to download fonts then print the application form.
Fill all the required details by using either black or blue ball point pen carefully. Use International words of English to fill up application form.
Take of photo of fix size required in application form and attach the photo and do not staple the photo then make cross signature on photo and application form means half of the sign should be on application form and rest should be on photo.
Take two envelopes of 16×10 cm and write address of correspondence where you live and attach Postal Ticket of Rs 40/- on each.
Attach the self attested xerox copy of all necessary documents such as – Educational Qualification, Caste Certificate, Employment Registration, Experience Certificate etc.
