For Postman:
i).Candidates must have passed “Matriculation/SSC” from a recognized university
For Mail Guard:
i).Candidates must have passed “Matriculation/SSC” from a recognized university
Age Criteria: (as on 18.08.2014)
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 27 years
There is an age relaxation applicable for reserved candidates as per the Government rules.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- + Admissible allowance
Probation Period: 02 years

How to Make Payment:
1).Candidates are required to make payment through “SUNAYASAM” counters in Any Head Post Office in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana States listed in the Head Post offices provided in the Notification (bottom page)
2).The fee must be credited under “Sunayasam Head: Postman Recruitment 2014”
3).Candidates are then required to collect the receipt from the Post office counter and check the details.
Selection Process:
1).Only Aptitude Test
Merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared in each Postal/RMS Division Separately
Exam Pattern:
Total Marks: 100 Marks
Duration of Exam: 02 hours
There are Part A, B, and C Sections.
Part A – General Knowledge, Reasoning, Analytical Ability – 25 Marks – 25 Questions
Part B – Mathematics – 25 Marks – 25 Questions
Part C (i) – English Language – 25 Marks – 25 Questions
Part C (ii) – Telugu Language – 25 Marks – 25 Questions
Cut Off Marks:
Parts A & B:
OC – 10 Marks
OBC – 9 Marks
SC/ST – 8 Marks
Part C (Two Segments): In each Segment
OC – 10 Marks
OBC – 9 Marks
SC/ST – 8 Marks
Aggregate Cut Off:
For OC – 40 Marks
For OBC – 37 Mark
For SC/ST – 33 Marks
