ONGC – Oil and Natural Gas Corporation a Maharatna Company has issued ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014 – 15 notification for filling up various A-I level, A-II level and W-I level posts in Western Sector (Gujrat) and inviting applications from eligible candidates through online mode to fill up vacancies of different posts.

Minimum Educational Qualification Required to ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014 – 15 :

Important Note on ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014 – 15 :
1. For Diploma Required Posts : Diploma should be of minimum 03 years and recognized by AICTE.
2. For ITI Required Posts : ITI should be recognized by any one of the NCVT : National Council of Vocational Training or SCVT : State Council of Vocational Training
3. For Graduate and Post Graduate Required Posts : All bachelor’s and master’s degree should be acquired from recognized university or institute by UGC/AICTE/AIU.
4. All the qualifications completed by candidates should be as a regular candidate means candidates who have completed their qualifications through part time or private mode will not be eligible to apply for ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014-15.
Minimum Age limit Required to Apply for ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014 – 15 :
Age Limit for A-II and A-I level posts : 18-30 years
Age Limit for W-I level posts : 18-27 years
Relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD category candidates.

Selection Process of ONGC Western Sector Recruitment 2014 – 15 :
Stage I – Written Examination : Commission will conduct written examination for all posts at the same time and qualifying in written exam is necessary to be eligible for next stage.
Stage II : Physical Exam/ Driving Test/ Stenography/ Typing Test/ Physical Efficiency Test (wherever applicable)
Stage III : Personal Interview : Qualifying in this stage is necessary to be eligible for job.
