Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Exam (Tier 1) on SUNDAY the 9th August 2015 and 16th August 2015. A). For Compiler Posts: Bachelor Degree with Economics (Or) Statistics (Or) Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject
B). For Statistical Investigator Grade II: Degree with Mathematics/ Economics/ Commerce (with Statistics background)
C). For All Other Posts: Any Degree from a recognized university.
Age Criteria (As on 1st August, 2015):
For Tax Assistants Post: 20 to 27 years
For Sub Inspector or Narcotics: 18 to 25 years
For Assistant Enforcement Officer: 20 to 30 years
For Assistant/ Sub-Inspector in CBI/ NIA: 20 to 30 years
For Statistical Investigator Grade-II: 20 to 32 years
Note: Age relaxation is applicable for OBC of 3 years, SC/ST of 5 years and PH of 10 years as per government norms.
Examination Fee:
For Women/ SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen Category candidates – No Fee
For All Others – Rs.100/-
Mode of Fee Payment:
A). For Online, only through SBI Challan
B). For Offline, Only through CRFS (Central Recruitment Fee Stamps)
SSC CGL 2015 Tier 1 Selection Process:
a). Tier 1: Written Examination – 200 Marks
b). Tier 2: Written Examination – 400 Marks
c). Interview/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test/ Document Verification – 100 Marks
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2015 Pattern:
Part A: General Intelligence + Reasoning – 50 Marks
Part B: General Awareness – 50 Marks
Part C: Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Marks
Part D: English Comprehension – 50 Marks
Total Marks – 200 Marks
Duration of the Exam – 2 hours
