Post no. 01 – Operator cum Technician (Trainee) : 222 posts
Post no. 02 – Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) : 190 posts
Post no. 03 – Operator cum Technician (S-3) (Boiler Operation)

Minimum Eligibility Criteria required to apply for SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment 2015 :
For Post no. 01 – Operator cum Technician (Trainee) :
Candidate must have completed matriculation with at least 03 years of full time diploma course in any one of the Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Chemical/ Instrumentation/ Civil from any reputed government recognized institute.
Minimum age limit required to apply for Post no. 01 Operator cum Technician (Trainee) in SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment 2015 :
Between 18-28 years
For Post no. 02 – Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) :
Candidate must have completed matriculation and should possess full time course of ITI in any one of the following trades – Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Machinist/ Diesel Mechanic from government recognized institute.
Minimum age limit required to apply for Post no. 02 Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) in SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment 2015 :
Between 18-28 years
For Post no. 0 – Operator cum Technician (S-3) Boiler Operation :
Candidate must have completed matriculation and should have passed a minimum of 03 years diploma in any one of the following subjects/ trades from a recognized institute – Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering.
Must possess a certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer.
Minimum age limit required to apply for Post no. 0 Operation Technician (S-3) Boiler Operation in SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant Recruitment 2015 :
Between 18-30 years
Relaxation in upper age is applicable to all posts as per government guidelines which is 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST
