How to prepare for RBI Assistant Exam

From the date of notification you will have to prepare for the exam very well.To be eligible and prepare for the exam you must have to first check the syllabus once.

There will be basically 5 sections.Each Section consists of 40 Questions of 40 Marks.So the total paper is for 200 marks and you need to complete them in 2 hours.

The Syllabus is almost similar to the other bank clerical exam.But there is a difference is with the difficulty level.Of course the pattern of the exam will be equal to the clerks exam of SBI.

The books to be followed for the exam are :

For RBI Assistant exam they are not asking questions from Date Interpretation.Maximum 20  marks will be from simplifications.So you try to concentrate more on fast calculations.

For Reasoning section concentrate on Verbal reasoning.You have to cover the topics like Alphabet Test , number series test,Odd man out,Analogy,Coding and Decoding and Blood Relation,Distance and Direction,Symbol and notation.

Make sure you concentrate on the areas like passage comprehension,common errors,sentence improvement,fill in the blanks,Paragraph rearrangement,Antonyms and Synonyms.

They do not expect you to be experts in computers.You must get good command over the General Awareness part.This section especially depends on the Current Affairs only.Preparing for last six months current affairs is enough to get good marks .
