M Pharm is the PG course after B.Pharm. The duration of the program is 2 years. It is divided into 4 semesters and examination held at the end of every semester. Last semester may be of training/project period based upon college criteria. Course expose students to different pharmacy techniques like Instrumentation, New drug researches, and various other pharmacy practical elements. There are many universities all over India offer the program.

  • You can get a job after B.Pharm easily but for better salary and opportunities, M.Pharm is advised.
  • You can get a chance to work in foreign countries and go for higher studies.
  • Program helps students to boost their practical/communication skills. 
  • Master course is meant for specialization in specific field and you can enter research area.

Am I Eligible?

B. Pharm students with not less than 50% marks from a Recognized university are qualified for M.Pharm. Good news for ST/SC students their minimum qualification is pass in B.Pham. Admission in good M.Pharm university is based upon marks in GPAT, a graduation based entrance test. Some famous universities also conduct their own entrance test. Eg. NIPER, BITS, BUEST etc.

Procedure of Admission

GPAT qualified students can apply for admission in university of their choice online/offline as per convenience. After filling admission form u r required to send it to respective authority along with GPAT/NET score sheet. Selected candidate based upon entrance called for PIs.

What if I could not pass Entrance test 🙁 —- don’t worry! There are many colleges in India that may take you without GPAT. (Contact Baddi university).
