Eligibility for civil engineering course in Btech.
One need to have minimum qualification of 12th class and with the minimum of of 60 percent marks with physics, chemistry and maths subjects.
So if you want to do b tech in civil engineering then you must have a 12th pass with 60 percent marks.
Arts and commerce students are not eligible for doing btech in civil engineering.
Salary you can expect-
Civil Engineers have good salary and they can get upto 30k to 50k salary after completion of your Btech course.And if one have Mtech degree then there will be more chances of getting govt job and then can get easy of above 50k salary.
So salary is good in this field.

Civil Engineering stream is an ancient branch.So you would find many jobs either core or Government sector jobs even after you come out of your college.There are some civil core companies such as,L&T,Essar,Mahindra & Mahindra…etc other than those you may also apply for NTPC,ONGC,SAIL,Seimens,BHEL,BEL and many more when they release notification.
